The issue wraps up everything that has gone before in a nice, neat, satisfying bundle - then sets the stage for what will follow. As the story concludes, Dragon alters history and the domino effect that results transforms the world as we know it in a dramatic fashion. It effectively removes the Dragon from the proper Image Universe and it gives us a whole new world from which to operate. What's most interesting here is that long-time readers will be able to see the domino effect caused by Dragon's actions and be able to compare the two worlds and see how they diverge from one another while new readers will simply be introduced to this new world and get in on the action from the ground floor. Whereas some alternate realities seem to have random changes, this will have changes that follow in a completely logical fashion.
