Dark Horse is teaming up with today's finest outrT artists to create a collection of cool stationery sets. Email may be de rigueur, but the art of the letter is still considered top form in socializing from afar. Tim Biskup. Originally from California, Biskup was raised on Disneyland, Ratfink, badly dubbed Japanese sci-fi movies, punk rock, skateboarding, and underground comics. But it was his obsession with the art of Mary Blair that led him to consider a career in animation. This career has involved him in countless cartoons, including his own short 'Freddy Seymore's Amazing Life' for Nickelodeon, and he is currently Background Supervisor for Cartoon Network's 'Time Squad.' It is the culmination of these activities and influences that have shaped his work. Each set includes 8 letter sheets (four different styles), 6 envelopes (4 different styles), and a set of stickers. Packaged as a work of art itself with a printed belly-band all inside a poly bag. |
