| Red Tornado began life as an alien consciousness that arrived on Earth and entered the android body, a creation of criminal scientist T.O. Morrow. At first the Red Tornado was forced to follow Morrow's evil plan and attempt to infiltrate and destroy the League, but he eventually broke the scientist's hold on him and used his powers as a living tornado, able to create winds of incredible speed and intensity, as a member of the team he once tried to destroy. |
