You may have heard bits of gossip here and there about Paramount's plans to adapt the DC Comics limited series set in an alternate American, Watchmen, for the big screen. Those of you familiar with the critically acclaimed films Requiem for a Dream and Pi will be delighted to know that their director, Darren Aronofsky, will be helming the project. Originally optioned by Universal Pictures, the 1986 12-issue conspiracy comic will be scripted by David Hayter, who's also developing the Iron Man screenplay.
