The first Conan one-shot from Dark Horse falls outside the current stories of the regular, on-going Conan title, but it's definitely a close companion. Writer-inker Jimmy Palmiotti, penciller Mark Texiera, and colorist Michelle Madsen are joined by series letterer Richard Starkings for a tale of a slightly older Conan than we see in the regular title. And as much as we love the serialized stories, it's cool to have a one-shot to read and enjoy. Great job by all concerned. |
